IRIS Monitor Technology
Our assistive technology consists of a 13.3 inch secondary computer monitor that is designed to be used concurrently or as a substitute to a traditional LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) screen.
The IRIS Monitor uses E-paper technology, refreshing only when the content of the screen changes. The IRIS Monitor has been clinically validated to reduce the number and severity of concussion symptoms triggered while using a computer by removing the screen’s backlight as well as its bright, flashing pixels. Our monitor allows users to reintroduce daily computer use and increase their level of productivity.
Hear from a Patient
IRIS Monitor is the ONLY alternative to LCD screens that can allow patients suffering from Computer Screen Intolerance to reintroduce daily computer use and reconnect digitally.
IRIS Monitor is the first clinically-validated assistive device that reduces the number and severity of concussion symptoms triggered while using a computer.
In our clinical study, published in the Journal of Neurotrauma, 79% of patients stated that their symptom severity decreased while using IRIS Monitor, compared to a traditional LCD computer screen. These symptoms include pain, headache, nausea/vomiting, light sensitivity etc.
